In terms of qualifications, a site foreman will need an appropriate Construction Skills Certificate Scheme Card (CSCS), along with the Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme (SSTS) or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification.
They will also require first aid and health and safety qualifications and may need to attend regular refresher training courses to ensure they are working to best practices and current guidelines.
